The length Quantity is entered in half metre units.

To order, enter in the Quantity box the length of speaker cable you require, for example to order 5.5 metres of stereo speaker cable, enter "11" (half metres) in the Quantity box.

Remember that DNM stereo speaker cable has both the left and right channels in one 4 conductor ribbon, which is designed to be easily separated at the speaker end to enable connection of the two speakers.
Order the number of half metre lengths required to reach the speaker further away from the amplifier.
To order for bi-wiring or bi-amping, order the full 4 conductor ribbon length required for each channel.


Notes which may influence your order selection.

If the amplifier is located one side of the room relative to the speakers.
At the speaker end of the cable separate the DNM ribbon (from 4 conductors to 2 x 2 conductors). Separate back to the point which is halfway between the speakers, to allow connection to both speakers. This method will keep the left and right channel cable lengths equal.

If unequal cable length per channel is permissible, cut the 2 conductor ribbon shorter on the side nearest to the amplifier, this will give the neatest looking installation.

If the amplifier is located between the two speakers.
If the amplifier is not in the central position between the speakers order the cable length to be long enough to connect the speaker furthest away from the amplifier. You may then want to separate the complete ribbon from 4 conductors to 2 x 2 conductors but we strongly recommend that at least half a metre of the ribbon at the amplifier end is kept together in 4 conductor form to retain the cable directionality.

DNM's new third generation stereo interconnect cable has ground (earth return) conductors with only one third of the resistance
of the earlier DNM stereo interconnects, now using 0.5mm diameter outer signal conductors
and 0.65mm diameter inner ground conductors.

Shielded Stereo Interconnect cable is ordered and priced in 0.5 metre long stereo lengths to allow the cable length to be specified to within half a metre.
One Shielded Stereo Interconnect Cable can connect a stereo signal between two items of equipment, so for one stereo cable you need to order only one run of the Shielded cable.

DNM now offer a two channel shielded coaxial unbalanced cable, with an optional extra earth conductor to ground the tonearm which can be ordered with an email. This cable is specified to make the connection between the vinyl record player and the pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier, or any interconnect application of reasonable length (up to 7 metres) requiring a shield.

The Cable Specifications:-
Resistance of the 7 signal conductors is 0.14 Ohms per metre.
Resistance of the shield is 0.022 Ohms per metre.
Capacitance is 57pF/Metre:- the cable length can be adjusted to set the load capacitance on a moving magnet cartridge. For example, a 2 metre length of this cable will add an extra 114pF load capacitance to the loading built into the RIAA amplifier's input.
